The fifth edition of the Resistance Film Festival was held from September 21 to October 25, 1994, two years after its previous edition, but what first draws attention is its compactness. For example, the same festival that took about 13 days last season, this time it lasted only 6 days!
In this edition, Ramin Ahmadi was appointed as the festival secretary for the second time, Ahmadi was also the helmsman of this responsibility in the previous edition of the festival.

-Film Feature Fiction / Selection Panel:
“Mohammad Afrideh” cultural expert “Ali Asghar Shadrovan” writer and director “Esfandiar Shahidi” cinematographer “Mohammad Mehdi Asgarpour” director “Ali Mirzaei” cultural expert were among the members of the selection panel for this edition of the festival.
-Film Feature Films/Jury Board:
Perhaps few people know that the late Ezzatollah Entezami, who recently passed away, was one of the judges of the first editions of this festival. The other judges were as follows: Azizollah Hamidnejad, director, writer and producer Ahmadreza Darvish, director Kambiz Roshan-Ravan, composer Seyed Mehdi Shojaei, writer Esfandiar Shahidi, cinematographer.
It would not be wrong to say that this edition of the festival has the strongest judging team and, in other words, the most cinematic jury of this festival compared to previous ones. The presence of people like Entezami, Hamidnejad and Darvish is a clear example of this.

Of these individuals, Asgarpour has the most experience of attending this festival and Talebzadeh is experiencing his first period of cooperation with the Resistance Film Festival.

This is the first season of the festival to be held internationally, the previous four seasons have only been held nationally. What attracts a little more attention is the presence of 5 world-renowned filmmakers such as Stanley Kubrick with the film Paths of Glory, Jean Renoir with the film The Grand Illusion, Billy Wilder with the film Prison Cell 17, Andre Wajda with the film Canal, and Buster Keaton with the film The General.
It is a good omen that a festival, in its first internationalization period, hosts 18 works from different countries and 5 works by world-renowned filmmakers.
