Multi-stage judging system with the presence of international artists and professors

Resistance Festival, a pioneer in cultural fairness assessment, has designed and implemented the judging process of works in three stages using a coherent, scientific, and multi-layered structure; a structure that, according to the festival secretary, guarantees transparency and fairness in the evaluation of works.

Dr. Jalal Ghafari stated: “In the first stage, the works were screened using the secretariat’s precise criteria. Then, in the second stage, the works were evaluated by the selection committee on a smart platform. Finally, the final judging took place with the presence of international professors.”

He added: “For the first time in a cultural festival, we were able to utilize the capacity of technology to implement multi-layered judging, so that each work was carefully and comprehensively examined throughout the process, without exception.”

Ghaffari considered this judging model a model for other events, adding: “The use of foreign judges not only added to the festival’s credibility, but also allowed the works to be evaluated from different perspectives and by global standards.”
