The International Resistance Film Festival, formerly known as the Sacred Defense Film Festival, is a festival held every two years by the Fatah Narrative Cultural Foundation. The opening of the 15th edition of this festival was held in 2018 at the Vahdat Hall. According to the festival’s official website, one of the most important components and approaches of this festival is to confront American influence and the festival’s goal is to “take a strategic look at the strategic cultural depth of the system and expand the discourse of the Islamic Revolution.”
