Mohammad Mirzaei, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in a conversation with the public relations of the 18th International Resistance Film Festival, pointed out the importance of art festivals in showing the realities of resistance in the region, especially in Iran, and said:

“One of the most important periods in the history of the region and the world today is taking place. The enemy has mobilized all its power and resources to suppress the thought of resistance. In these circumstances, great people in the field of resistance are being sacrificed for religion and Islam.”

He added:

“It is necessary for our artists to introduce the resistance jihadists and the sacrificers of this field to the world by producing and publishing real films that are appropriate for these circumstances. Especially if documentary films are presented in these festivals, it can greatly help record real and influential history in the world.”

Mirzaei continued:

“What is happening in this era is definitely one of the most important historical periods, and we must strive to have this fact recorded in history so that the people of the world become aware of this great movement.”
