Vahid Ahmadi, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasized that resistance as a software concept never becomes obsolete and that art and media can play an important role in conveying the principles of pure Islam and spreading the message of resistance. He emphasized the need to redefine propaganda and cultural strategies in line with the needs of society and the requirements of the region.

Vahid Ahmadi, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in an interview with the public relations of the 18th International Resistance Film Festival, referred to the importance of using art and media tools in conveying the concepts of resistance and said: “If we pay attention to the role of art and media, its importance in proposing new ideas and the principles of pure Islam becomes clearer. By defining the principles of pure Islam, Imam Khomeini (RA) was able to create a transformation in the world and establish a global dialogue against colonial powers, the effects of which can still be seen in different parts of the world today.”

He added: “A clear example of this was the military command that, relying on these principles, was able to create a general mobilization in the region and resist the evil powers that sought to create division and destroy Islamic countries. This victory was a lasting victory that was able to reveal the true nature of the resistance against the enemies.”

Referring to the leadership’s view on resistance, Ahmadi said: “The leadership defined the resistance as a software tool that not only does not become obsolete, but is always in focus. Accordingly, the propagation of the principles of resistance and pure Islam requires serious redefinition. We must design new strategies in accordance with the requirements of the region, the needs of today’s society, and the new literature of the information storm.”

He emphasized: “If there has been a failure to spread the message of resistance so far, the reason has been our weakness in utilizing the existing facilities and opportunities. Our mission is to convey the message of pure Islam and resistance to the world in a more effective and lasting way, using artistic and media tools.”

Ahmadi concluded by noting: “The Resistance Film Festival can be a suitable platform for presenting these concepts and expanding them globally. We must try to use these opportunities to convey the values ​​of resistance in the best possible way.”
