Ehsan Azimi, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasized the importance of art in expressing realities and explaining the discourse of the Islamic Revolution, and said that the Resistance Film Festival has been able to play an important role in this direction, especially in confronting the false narratives of the enemies.
In an interview with the public relations of the 18th International Resistance Film Festival, Ehsan Azimi, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, pointed out the importance of the media’s field presence and reflecting the realities in various fields, saying: “One of the important points of His Holiness’s words is the emphasis on being on the scene and the priority of the media. If we reflect the realities correctly and in a timely manner, this can have positive and effective effects on society, but if we allow foreigners or enemies to take over the first narrative, they can create negative psychological and social effects.”
He added: “The Resistance Film Festival can have a great impact in this area and play its media role by presenting the realities in the form of art. Art was one of the most effective tools in the Islamic Revolution and can convey the discourse of the Islamic Revolution, our values, and ideals in a wise and effective way.”
Azimi continued: “Today’s youth, who are a generation of questioners and seekers, are more receptive to the language of art than any other tool. This festival has achieved great success in this regard and has played an important role in explaining the values and realities of the Islamic Revolution.”
Finally, he emphasized the need to use art in all cultural and social dimensions and said: “The Resistance Film Festival can be a powerful tool for explaining realities and confronting false narratives on a global level.”
