About the Festival

The International Resistance Film Festival is one of Iran's most prestigious international cinematic events, with nearly four decades of history. Dedicated to storytelling about human dignity, justice, freedom, and resilience, it welcomes feature films, documentaries, short films, animation, screenplays, AI-based works, and research projects from filmmakers worldwide. The 19th edition highlights themes of resilience, courage, hope, social progress, and collective awareness, while embracing new creative technologies including artificial intelligence and multimedia storytelling.
