The editor of Filmnegar magazine, referring to the shortcomings of the Resistance Festival in using professional screenwriters and neglecting to produce apocalyptic works compared to Hollywood, emphasized the need to pay attention to the thoughts of the late Safaei Haeri in resistance cinema.
In an interview, Nosratollah Tabesh, editor of Filmnegar magazine, criticized the lack of use of prominent screenwriters in the production of works at this festival, calling this issue a “great loss.”
He called for resistance cinema to pay attention to the three stages of “waiting, taqiyeh, and uprising” in order to deepen the works.
Commenting on these three stages, Tabesh stated: “From the perspective of Professor Safaei, the waiting stage does not mean Marxist avoidance or Shariati protest, but rather readiness in the mentality, heart, action, and organization of forces. Taqiyeh is also not isolation or deception, but rather infiltration into the enemy’s political, economic, and cultural bases to weaken them. After these two stages, the uprising is realized.”
Referring to the Supreme Leader’s emphasis on strengthening resistance cinema scripts, the editor of Filmnegar stated: “Any film that strengthens the aesthetics of these stages is included in the category of resistance cinema. Addressing topics such as the apocalypse and Mahdism can also breathe life into this cinema; while Hollywood has been producing several apocalyptic films annually for decades, our cinema has fallen short in this regard.”
In conclusion, he called on all cinema activists to cooperate in this area and take effective steps to develop resistance cinema at the national and global levels.
